Temptations - Anti-Suggestions

So what do you do when you get temptations to smoke, eat donuts, skip a study period whatever? We looked at the Signpost. Today we will look into anti-suggestions. They are true statements meant to inform and hit your inner mind with the truth so hard that it releases negatives. Smoking kills 425,000 Americans each year. Eating a bag of donuts puts on weight. Skipping the study period makes it harder to get an 'A'.

EXAMPLES
Smoking poisons my body.
Not paying attention in class can lower my grade.
Stalling making a sales call can lower my sales.
Skipping my workout makes it harder to lose weight.
Not releasing anger keeps me angry.

Notice the actual wording. "Doing or not doing something" equals "some consequence". The power of anti-suggestions are strong. Your conscious mind may know that smoking poisons your body but your inner mind may not this. You can greatly increase their power by using other senses. Perhaps see and feel the hot poisonous gases as they enter a smokers lungs. Or imagine that bag of donuts going to your waistline. You can say anti-suggestions to yourself or out loud anytime anyplace. A good time is when the temptations come up.


PROGRAM
When you are tempted:
    Use peace self hypnosis
    My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace
    My chest and stomach are at peace
    My back is at peace
    ANTI-Suggestions
    Visualize reaching goal
