Temptations - What's Going On
What do you do when you are tempted to skip a workout, eat donuts and other daily temptations. So far we have looked at the Signpost, Anti-suggestions, the concept of taking charge and creating a journal to find the source of these temptations. Today we will ask the question: "What is going on?". Where are these temptations coming from? What can we do? As we said before these temptations are coming from the negatives in our inner mind which come from childhood experiences, learned behaviors, parents, school, anger, stress and fears are a few.
TEMPTATION PROGRAM
Perhaps a donut attack
peace self hypnosis
My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace.
My chest and stomach are at peace.
My back is at peace.
Ask: What's going on? ( might have to ask a few times) I am tired. Yet I must keep working. I must sell more today.
Ask: What can I do? Take a break. Maybe do a little less work. Exercise after work.
In this instance the person finds out they are stressed out and overworked today. They find a source and find a few ways to deal with it. This is progress. This is you taking charge.
