What do I say?
How do I say it? You want to stay motivated. You want your inner mind to send you the good stuff: inspiration, energy, determination and strength. This is the stuff that gets you to your goal. That makes a day wonderful. First step is to learn how to talk to yourself.

POSITIVE SUGGESTIONS
Make it personal: I, my business, my arm muscles
No: You can run on treadmill for 10 minutes.
Yes: I can run on the treadmill for 10 minutes.
Yes: I study and learn chapter 8 tonight.
Yes: I sell 100 widgets today.

Use the present tense.
No: I will finish my workout today.
Yes: I finish my workout today.

Use positive terms.
No: I can't finish writing this book.
Yes: I can finish writing this book.

Make it clear and simple.
Use the word 'can' often. For example, use I can weigh 130 pounds until you start believing it.
Use emotional terms: I love losing weight.

These are only general rules. And rules are meant to be broken. So be creative.
Your inner mind needs direction. Each time you give it a positive suggestion you are providing direction to it. You are also adding positives to your inner mind.

SIMPLE PROGRAM
My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace.
My chest and stomach are at peace.
My back is at peace.

Give yourself positive suggestions

My shoulders, arms and hands are strong.
My chest and stomach are strong.
My back is strong.

This could be done in less than a minute. While standing in line, walking into gym, getting ready to study, whatever, whenever.

EXERCISE
Write down 4 or 5 Positive Suggestions for your goal. Keep them handy. Say them anytime, anyplace.
