Goals - Self Hypnosis

Self hypnosis is powerful.
And you do not have to go deep. Many people already use it daily. The athlete doing his program in the 'zone'. Actors taking on a role. Perhaps you use it occasionally without knowing it. During a massage, in a recliner listening to soft music, when driving your car and you realize you don't remember doing it.

The purpose of hypnosis is to bring your inner mind into your awareness. This could mean a little bit or a lot. With a hypnotist your awareness might be 5% conscious and 95% inner mind. In self hypnosis it might be 80% conscious and 20% inner mind. It can vary!! Notice that awareness can contain both. The programs we use do not require you to be an expert in self hypnosis. Just use the following suggestions and progress will be yours.

Two types will be taught here: peace and strong self hypnosis. One contains suggestions for peace and the other for strength. When people are being tempted to eat cookies, under stress or doubts these thoughts and feeling are mostly in their mind. This following self hypnosis method takes your awareness from these thoughts in your mind to your BODY.  My shoulders, my back etc.


SELF HYPNOSIS STRONG SUGGESTIONS
My feet are strong.
My legs are strong.
My back is strong.
My shoulders, arms and hands are strong.
My chest and stomach are strong.
My neck and head are strong.
My body is strong.
I am strong.

SELF HYPNOSIS PEACE SUGGESTIONS
My feet are at peace
My legs are at peace.
My back is at peace.
My shoulders, arms and hands.
My chest and stomach are at peace.
My neck and head are at peace.
My body is at peace.
My mind is at peace.
I am at peace.


SHORT STRONG SELF HYPNOSIS
My shoulders, arms and hands are strong.
My chest and stomach are strong.
My back is strong.

SHORT PEACE SELF HYPNOSIS
My shoulders, arms and hand are at peace.
My chest and stomach are at peace.
My back is at peace.


Notice that suggestions are the same except for the words strong and at peace. There are two versions: long and short. For most daily activities use the SHORT version. When you have time perhaps during a break at work or before bed you can use the 'long version. Generally we will start with the short peace suggestions then a 'program' and next the strong version. A program is what we use to add positives, remove negatives and give directions. For example we might just visualize ourselves reaching our goal. Or we may do something to stop craving a donut.

Almost all of what will follow in this blog are programs which the conscious mind can use to take charge of the inner mind. Not control. The inner mind is very powerful and contains a vast resource for us to have a happier and more productive life. We are only beginning to explore it.
