Listen To The Tapes
Listen to the 2 Weight Loss tapes each day (see Tapes Category on this blog). Tapes are powerful when used daily. There are 2 types: relax and outloud. For 'relax' (light hypnosis) you need to sit or lie down in a quiet area or use headphones. For 'outloud' (normal consciousness) listen while driving, cooking, working, whenever. Each tape is 6-9 minutes long so you can listen anytime. You can load them onto itunes and put on ipod. Try the "Beautiful Day" tape coming soon.
Strategy
Self Hypnosis is advanced willpower. The conscious mind making suggestions to the inner mind so that both minds work together to lose weight and keep it off. See the inner mind category to the right for more info.
My Goalsheet
Make a goalsheet and fill it out. Your goal is: I lose weight today. We will focus on today. In the finsh section write in your long term goal. Each morning read it outloud. Weigh yourself and record it on Wednesday and Friday.

I Love Losing Weight
Your Mantra. We want the inner mind to hate being overweight and to love losing weight so it will STOP sending you doubts, desires and cravings to eat fattening foods and to overeat. Say the mantra anytime, anyplace. You can use the word 'fat' instead of 'overweight'.
Temptations To Eat
Do this whenever you have a desire to eat fattening foods or overeat. This script is the Max right here. Feel free to shorten it. Whatever works.
My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace.
My chest and stomach are at peace.
My back is at peace.
Eating this food puts on weight.
I hate gaining weigh.
I love losing weight.
What's going on? (I'm stressed out).
What can I do? Answer to question what's going on. Or walk away. Or say No. Squeeze a ball. Eat something lowcal. Come up with a number of things you can do.
Before Eating a Meal
Do this before a meal so you are more aware, enjoy it more and eat less.
1. Peace self hypnosis
My shoulders, arms and hands are at peace.
My chest and stomach are at peace.
My back is at peace.
2. Say your Goal. I lose weight today.
3. Be more aware. Look at the colors and shapes of the food. And fellow diners. Actually do this.
4. Say: This food fills me up entirely. (looking at food on plate)
Do this each time you have a meal. Takes less than a minute
Weigh In
I suggest you weigh yourself on Wednesday and Saturday morning and record it.
